Giordano’s With Joe Set For Tuesday, Dec. 5

EVANSTON, Ill. – The December installment of Giordano's With Joe and The Joe McKeown Show will take place next Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 6-8 p.m. at Giordano's Pizza in Evanston.
Coach McKeown's monthly radio show with WNUR Sports will air live on-site from Giordano's beginning around 6:15 p.m. and will also feature interviews with two Northwestern student-athletes. Last month's featured guests were sophomores Abi Scheid and Byrdy Galernik.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, eat dinner, listen to The Joe McKeown Show, and interact with Coach McKeown and student-athletes in attendance during the latter half of the evening.
The WNUR hosts will bring fans in attendance into the conversation by conducting a Q&A session with each student-athlete and Coach McKeown after their on-air interviews.
As always, fans will receive 20 percent off their bill when they say they are there to see Coach McKeown.
Giordano's is located at 1527 Chicago Ave. in Evanston.
Northwestern is off to a 5-2 start to the 2017-18 season with decisive home victories over Oakland and Santa Clara. The Wildcats have the best defense in the Big Ten based on opponent points per game (54.3) and opponent field goal percentage (33 percent). First-year guard Lindsey Pulliam leads the team with 14.0 points per game. Scheid averages 13.3, and junior forward Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah is averaging a double-double with 10.7 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.
