#B1GCats Finish 3-0 in France with Dominating Win Over ELCV 78 Basket

LE CHESNAY, France – Northwestern closed out its exhibition tour in France with a 3-0 overall record after a 91-63 win over ELCV 78 Basket.
Senior Nia Coffey led all scorers with 19 points. Sophomore Jordan Hankins and fifth-year senior Lauren Douglas joined Coffey in double figures with 16 and 10 points, respectively. In addition, 10 other Wildcats contributed points against ELCV, including newcomers Abi Scheid and Abbie Wolf.
The Wildcats went ahead 10-2 in the first three minutes of action and never looked back. A Coffey triple in the seventh minutes gave NU a double-digit lead that it would never relinquish.
In the fourth quarter, sophomore Amber Jamison and Hankins teamed up for the team's final points as Chicago's Big Ten Team ran away with another dominating performance in France.
The Wildcats return to action on Nov. 6 for another exhibition game against Illinois-Springfield before tipping off the 2016-17 season against Hampton on Nov. 11.
