#B1GCats Defeat Le Havre in Paris, 56-33

PARIS – Northwestern showcased another dynamic team performance as the 'Cats defeated Le Havre, 56-33, on Wednesday afternoon in Paris.
Freshmen Abbie Wolf led the Wildcats in scoring with seven points through the first half, and registered the team's first four points of the contest. Lydia Rohde stepped up with a 3-pointer from NBA range in the third minute of action to put the 'Cats ahead 7-0 early.
Le Havre drained back-to-back buckets in the final minutes of the first frame, but Chicago's Big Ten Team led 16-10 after 10 minutes of play. Sophomore Amber Jamison proved to be a force in the second quarter, adding five points of her own to build to Northwestern's lead. NU once again held Le Havre to just 10 points in the second period and entered the halftime break with a 34-20 lead.
Le Havre held the Wildcats to just five points in the third frame, but NU dominated the fourth quarter, 17-4, to run away with the win. Junior transfer Oceana Hamilton triggered the #B1GCats' fourth-quarter success with a 7-0 run of her own.
NU's third and final game of its France exhibition tour is slated for Friday at 2:30 p.m. CST in Le Chesnay.
