Northwestern Reveals Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2016

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern today announced the members of its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2016, which will formally be inducted during Hall of Fame weekend Sept. 23-24 surrounding the Wildcats' home football game against Nebraska at Ryan Field.

Hilary Bowen (2006-09) of women's lacrosse, Matt Eliason (2007-10) of men's soccer, Maria Mosolova (2007-11) of women's tennis, Sam Nemecek (2005-09) of women's fencing, Sannie van Dijck (1985-88) of field hockey and former head football coach Randy Walker (1999-2005) comprise the student-athletes and coaches in the Class of 2016.

The induction ceremony and dinner are open to the public, and will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, at the Hotel Orrington in Evanston. Tickets are $50 per person and can be reserved by linking to alumni.northwestern.edu.

The entire class then will be honored at the 6:30 p.m. football game against the Cornhuskers the next day. Tickets to the game are available at NUsports.com.
