EVANSTON – Northwestern Athletics will host a free showing of 'The Good Dinosaur' on Thursday, July 21 as part of its annual free Movie Night at Ryan Field.

Gates will open at 6:15 p.m. CT for a 7 p.m. showing on the football field video board. Parking and admission are free. Complimentary popcorn and Coca-Cola beverages (while supplies last) will also be provided for fans of all ages. Additional concession will be available for purchase.

Fans will enter Ryan Field through Gate K in the southwest corner of the football stadium. Blankets will be allowed on the playing surface but chairs are prohibited in order to protect the grass.

And while at Ryan Field, fans will also be able to pick up the third installment of this year's Wildcats football posters.

This summer's free showing of Disney Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur' at Ryan Field is part of the starlight entertainment in the park series sponsored by the city of Evanston. 'The Good Dinosaur' is about a young dinosaur, Arlo, lost in prehistoric forests and his adventures and challenges to find his way home.

Northwestern Athletics hosted its inaugural Movie Night last year and welcomed fans at Ryan Field with the free showing of 'Big Hero 6', also a Disney animated movie.
