She won 12 bouts during the championships.
Chicago's Big Ten Team scored 44 points to place eighth overall among all participating teams. Columbia won the national title with 86 points.
Juliana Barrett earned a 16th place finish in epee, while junior Alisha Gomez-Shah finished 21st in sabre. Gomez-Shah knocked off eventual champion Adrienne Jarocki of Harvard in the final round-robin bout. The loss was only one of four in the two-day event for Jarocki.
The national top-10 finish marked the last milestone in head coach Laurie Schiller's career. Current assistant Zach Moss will take over a program that is the defending Midwest Conference champions and returns 24 of 31 student-athletes for the 2016-17 season.
