Northwestern Concludes Wildcat Invite Competition

Sunday's Singles Results

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's women's tennis team wrapped up competition Sunday at its own Wildcat Invite with one final round of singles action.

Five Wildcats took the courts on Sunday with Maddie Lipp capping a perfect weekend. After winning the top doubles draw with partner Alex Chatt on Saturday, Lipp defeated Elise Van Heuvelen of Iowa on Sunday, 6-2, 7-5.

Also victorious for the 'Cats on Sunday were Chatt, who topped Notre Dame's Allison Miller 5-7, 7-6, 1-0 (4), and Rheeya Doshi who completed her perfect weekend with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Michigan State's Athena Truilloit. Doshi had claimed the B draw doubles title on Saturday with Brooke Rischbieth.

Lipp, Chatt and Erin Larner will represent Northwestern at the ITA All-American in Riviera, California, starting Tuesday.
