Tangkamolprasert Earns WGCA All-America Honor

Junior recorded 10th-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Championships, the best finish in program history
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Junior Suchaya Tangkamolprasert earned Women's Golf Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-America honors, the WGCA announced Friday. The Bangkok, Thailand, native became the first Wildcat in team history to earn a WGCA All-American nod.
Tangkamolprasert finished her junior season with a 10th-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Women's Golf Championships for the highest individual finish in program history. She also helped lead the Wildcats to their third-consecutive top-15 team finish at NCAAs where NU placed 10th overall for the best ranking in program history.
The junior placed ninth overall at the 2015 Big Ten Championships after shooting 2-over-par 218. Tangkamolprasert recorded six top-10 finishes during the 2014-15 season, including a second-place individual finish at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitation.
