EVANSTON, Ill. -- Senior Weekend has arrived in Evanston, with Northwestern hosting Ohio State at Sharon J. Drysdale Field in its final home B1G series of the season. The Wildcats will celebrate Andrea DiPrima (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove), Olivia Duehr (Antioch, Ill./Antioch), Anna Edwards (La Cañada, Calif./La Cañada) and Julia Kuhn (Middletown, N.J./Middletown South) both at the ninth-annual Purple Auction following Saturday's game and in the official Senior Day ceremony prior to Sunday's first pitch.

Tickets are available now online at NUsports.com or at the gate. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for youth and $3 for groups of 15 or more. New this year, fans can purchase 10-ticket flex plans at NUsports.com for just $3 a ticket. These tickets can be used in any combination for Northwestern home games at "The J." As always, parking is free and tailgating encouraged at NU Softball!

The series begins at 4 p.m. CT Friday, April 24, with noon CT starts scheduled for Saturday and Sunday; Saturday's go time is one hour prior to the typical Saturday start in home Big Ten series. Northwestern has several great promotions going on this weekend, as well.

Fans can join Northwestern Softball after Saturday's game for the ninth annual PURPLE AUCTION to be held in Welsh-Ryan Arena following the Wildcats' home game against Ohio State! With great food, drinks and outstanding auction items, this is THE event to celebrate Northwestern Softball!

DiPrima entered the starting lineup on a regular basis as a sophomore, and has never hit less than .350 in a season since. Currently boasting the fourth-highest career batting average in Northwestern history, DiPrima also ranks third at NU with 39 career doubles, fourth in on-base percentage and eighth in slugging. She was a 2014 NFCA All-Region and All-Big Ten selection.

Only two people have ever hit multiple home runs onto the roof of McGaw Hall. Duehr is one of them. The two-time Roof Clubber has started 139 games in her NU career, doing anything in her power to help the team from the batter's box to the pitcher's circle. She has 20 home runs while displaying the discipline to rank ninth in Wildcats' history with 76 career walks, helping her compile a .376 on-base percentage.

Edwards earned All-Big Ten honors in 2013 and has been a leading run producer for Northwestern while starting more than 200 games in her career. She has 22 home runs and ranks 10th in school history with 109 RBIs, including 42 during her sizzling sophomore campaign. Another Wildcat who has helped the program in multiple ways, Edwards has played second, third and shortstop in her career.

Kuhn worked her way into everyday starter status as a junior in 2014 after playing primarily defense at first base earlier in her career. She has broken out in a big way as a senior, more than doubling her career totals for doubles and home runs while batting .305 and driving in 21. She defensive prowess remains steadfast, however, with a .995 fielding percentage at first base on just a single error in 197 chances.

Northwestern and its seniors enter this series against Ohio State with a 22-18 overall record, 10-6 in the Big Ten. The Wildcats are a half game out of fourth place in the conference standings, which would earn NU a bye in the first round of the B1G Tournament in two weeks. Meanwhile, Ohio State--the 2015 Big Ten Tournament hosts--is tied for seventh in the league standings with an 8-9 record, though the Buckeyes are 25-19 overall and ranked among the top-60 in the most recent NCAA RPI.

Freshman Sabrina Rabin remains the reigning Big Ten Player and Freshman of the Week on the strength of an .800 (8-for-10) performance with five steals in a three-game set at Nebraska last week. She remains red-hot atop the Northwestern lineup while junior Andrea Filler ranks among the Big Ten's top-five in doubles, RBIs and slugging in 2015.
