Northwestern Spring Showcase To Air Live On BTN

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern football will open the 2015 spring practice schedule on Wednesday, February 25, kicking off a 15-session slate with two opportunities for fans to see the Wildcats in action, including the annual Spring Showcase on April 11 at Lakeside Field that will air live on Big Ten Network and BTN2Go.
On Saturday, April 4, Northwestern will host an open practice and youth football clinic at Ryan Field. Practice will begin at 10 a.m. CT and both parking and admission will be complimentary, with general admission seating in the stadium. Ryan Field concession stands will be open and, in a partnership with LifeSource, the Purple Pride Blood Drive will be hosted in the Stadium Club on the facility's seventh floor from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Wildcats Youth Football Clinic for players in grades 8-and-under will be held from 12-1 p.m after the conclusion of the April 4 practice, and is free of charge. Registration must be completed in advance to participate, and details will be announced in early March on NUSports.com.
The spring season wraps up on Saturday, April 11, when the Wildcats take to Lakeside Field on the shores of Lake Michigan for the 2015 Spring Showcase. The event will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network and BTN2Go as the team goes through it's final paces of the spring.
Chicago's Big Ten Team will kick off the 2015 campaign on Saturday, September 5, when the Wildcats welcome the Stanford Cardinal to Ryan Field. Season tickets are now on sale online at NUSports.com and via phone at 888-GO-PURPLE.
