TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Northwestern's four-player contingent wrapped up competition Saturday at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic hosted by the University of Alabama.
In singles play, the Wildcats got a victory from Brooke Rischbieth in the consolation championship match of the Paulina Bigos Draw as she posted a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Kelsey Coots of Chattanooga. Erin Larner and Lee Or of NU also picked up wins via walkover over their slated opponents. Jillian Rooney, who won a pair of singles matches on Friday, was knocked off in the championship match of the Becca Baum Draw, falling to Madison Harrison of Mississippi State 6-3, 6-2.
Northwestern picked up one win in doubles action on the day as Rischbieth and Rooney teamed up to take down Joanna Nena Savva and Andie Daniell of host Alabama, 6-4.
The Wildcats return to action next Friday through Sunday when they host the Wildcat Fall Duals at Combe Tennis Center.
