NU Launches ExpApp for Fan Experiences, Seat Upgrades

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern announces the launch of its partnership with "ExpApp," an Experience App that allows fans to upgrade seats in-game at Welsh-Ryan Arena and also enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences beginning with Thursday's game against Ohio State.
Fans attending men's basketball games at Welsh-Ryan Arena will be able to use the ExpApp to purchase access to improved seat locations, beginning three hours prior to tip-off, bringing their purple passion closer to the floor.
The process is fast and easy! After entering the arena with their original game ticket, fans can access the App on their mobile devices by going to nusports.expapp.com. Once in the App, fans are able to scan and select available locations, confirm the upgrade then move to new seats immediately!
In addition, the ExpApp offers fans behind-the-scenes and on-court experiences not available anywhere else, such as coming down onto the Welsh-Ryan Arena floor to form a high-five tunnel for the team as it returns from halftime. Future options will include locker room tours, scoreboard messages and more.
The cost of upgrades and experiences will go directly to benefit Northwestern's student-athletes.
