EVANSTON, Ill. -- There will be a few new faces on the Northwestern women's basketball team for the 2014-15 season with a talented group of incoming freshmen joining the squad. A number of the incoming freshmen were already in Evanston this summer and took part in workouts with the returning Wildcats.

With the new faces, it's time to get to know the new freshmen that will be on the Welsh-Ryan Arena court next year. A 5-10 guard from Brookfield, Wis., Lydia Rohde earned Associated Press All-State honors and WBCA Division I All-State honors as a senior. She was a four-year all-conference honoree and helped guide Brookfield Central to the Division I sectional finals her senior year. As a senior, the sharpshooter averaged a team-high 13.8 ppg, while shooting 49.2 percent from 3-point range. She finished her high school career as the all-time assist leader with 330 and No. 2 in school history with 954 career points.
