Northwestern Announces BTN Plus Streaming Information
8/27/2014 12:00:00 AM | General
BTN Plus replaces the Big Ten Digital Network and will also encompass live events that were previously streamed in the Wildcats All-Access platform. The consolidation of streaming platforms provides Northwestern fans with one subscription service to watch all available Wildcats content in the 2014-15 school year.
Fans can find BTN Plus content on the BTN2Go app or at BTN2Go.com. BTN Plus requires a subscription ($9.95 per month for a school pass or $14.95 per month for a conference-wide pass with annual options also available) but does not require users to authenticate with a cable or satellite package to access the content. BTN subscribers who already use the BTN2Go app will still need to purchase a subscription to watch games streamed with BTN Plus. BTN Plus is available for iOS and Android devices as well as on the web at BTN2Go.com.
To subscribe to BTN Plus or learn more about the platform, please visit the Big Ten Network website.
Northwestern will stream its first BTN Plus games this week, beginning with women's soccer against UIC on August 27 and men's soccer hosting Quinnipiac on August 29. Information on which games will be streamed and links to watch specific events are being compiled on sport schedule pages on NUSports.com and can also be found on Northwestern's On The Air page.
Northwestern students and other on campus users have complimentary access to BTN Plus and BTN2Go when logged in to a campus network, courtesy of BTN.
