Devon Brookshire to Transfer from Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. – Head coach Joe McKeown announced today that sophomore forward Devon Brookshire will transfer from Northwestern. Brookshire will finish out the remainder of the year at NU until the end of the spring quarter.
“We are disappointed that Devon has decided to leave our program,” McKeown said. “She is an outstanding student-athlete with a bright future. We wish her well.”
Brookshire played in 38 games during her two years with the Wildcats, starting five her freshman season. She averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game and the cognitive science major recently received Academic All-Big Ten honors for the 2013-14 season.
