Wildcats Set to Visit Chicago State for Twinbill Wednesday

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern and Chicago State have added another game to the schedule for Wednesday, April 16 when the two squads hook up at Cougar Stadium in Chicago. The local rivals will now play a doubleheader beginning at 3:45 p.m.
Rather than the previously scheduled nine-inning game, the Wildcats and Cougars will play two seven-inning contests on Wednesday. Chicago's Big Ten Team is 29-6 all-time against CSU, including a pair of 3-1 victories last season, with one coming at UIC's Les Miller Field and the other coming in Evanston at Rocky Miller Park.

Northwestern will resume Big Ten play at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18 at Nebraska. That game will be televised live on the Big Ten Network. Kevin Kugler will handle the play-by-play and Danan Hughes will provide the analysis. The series continues at Haymarket Park on Saturday at 2:05 p.m. before wrapping up on Sunday, April 20 at 1:05 p.m.
