EVANSTON, Ill.  – Northwestern sophomore Jordan Wilimovsky (Malibu, Calif./Malibu) has been named an All-American by the College Swimming Coaches Assocation of America (CSCAA).

The complete list of All-American can be found here.

The two-time NCAA qualifier Wilimovsky finished No. 4 in the nation at the NCAA Championships in the 1,650 free. He posted a 14:44.36 time in the mile on the final day of competition at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center in Austin on the campus of the University of Texas.

After becoming the first Northwestern swimmer to post a sub-15:00 mile as a freshman last season, Wilimovsky broke his own school record in the mile with a 14:55.25 time during the TYR Invite in Evanston on November 24, 2013. He was able to trim more than 12 seconds off that time during the Big Ten Championships, which earned him a second NCAA bid with an “A” Cut time.

CSCAA NCAA All-America Honors are conferred upon those athletes who finish in the top-8 of an individual, or relay, event at their respective NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) - the oldest organization of college coaches in America -is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming at the collegiate level.
