Wildcats Travel to Virginia for Fall Invite

Virginia Fall Invite Draws
EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern heads to Charlottesville, Va. this weekend for the Virginia Fall Duals. The event, hosted by the University of Virginia, will run from Friday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 12.
Joining Northwestern and host Virginia are Arkansas, Marshall, Maryland, Old Dominion and South Carolina.
Action will begin each morning at 9 a.m. and will be played outdoors at the Snyder Tennis Center. There are two singles draws with 16 competitors each and two doubles draws made up of eight teams.
Friday's action will include one round of doubles and two rounds of singles. There will be two rounds of doubles followed by a round of singles play on Saturday. The event will conclude on Sunday with a round of singles.
Notable early matchups include Brooke Rischbieth beginning her weekend by taking on preseason No. 5 ranked Julia Elbaba from Virginia. Manon Peri will open play against 122nd-ranked Maci Epstein, also of Virginia.
