Northwestern To Host Open Practice Saturday, Feb. 1

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern softball will host its annual open practice at 7 a.m. CT Saturday, Feb. 1, in Trienens Hall. The Wildcats' coaching staff will conduct drill demonstrations to share NU's practice philosophy and the team will host a meet and greet to answer questions and sign autographs for young athletes.
The open practice is scheduled to last three hours stretching from 7 a.m. CT to 10 a.m. CT. Trienens Hall is located at 2707 Ashland Ave., Evanston, IL, 60208, just north of the Nicolet Football Center. Due to strong turnouts in recent years, Northwestern is turning the practice into more of an event that serves as a teaching opportunity for local youth coaches and a fun experience for young local talent to meet the team in a practice setting.
