EVANSTON, Ill. -- Have you ever wanted to play alongside the finest band in the land? On Saturday, September 28, you can do just that and March with the Band at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
Under the direction of Daniel J. Farris, the Northwestern University Marching Band invites fans of all ages and abilities to the home of the Wildcats Saturday to experience twirling batons, fetching flag corps, captivating drum lines and the rest of the talented performers. Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments and enjoy this rare opportunity to march with the band, who will be in full uniform.
The event begins this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are only $6 for the general public and $4 for children and students. Free parking is available in the lot along Ashland Ave., just west of Welsh-Ryan Arena and Ryan Field.
