Oct. 6 Game at Purdue to Air Live on BTN

EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Big Ten Network announced its 2013 women's soccer broadcast schedule today and the Wildcats will make an appearance on the network Sunday, Oct. 6 at Purdue. Originally scheduled for a noon CT start in West Lafayette, the game will now kick off at 3:30 p.m. CT and air live on the Big Ten Network.
Northwestern fans will have other opportunities to watch the Wildcats via the Big Ten Digital Network web streams, which are available through a subscription to Wildcats All-Access on NUsports.com. A complete schedule of web streams for the 2013 women's soccer season will be available at a later date.
With nearly one week of practice complete, the Wildcats get their first test of the 2013 campaign Wednesday under the lights at Lakeside Field when DePaul visits for an exhibition at 6:30 p.m. Admission is FREE for Wednesday's exhibition and just over a week later, Northwestern officially opens the 2013 slate at home, hosting Western Illinois, Friday, Aug. 23 at Lakeside Field at 6:30 p.m.
In total, Northwestern will play 10 regular-season home games at scenic Lakeside Field. Be sure to secure seats to watch the Wildcats with a season-ticket package, or fans can purchase single-game tickets by visiting the NUsports.com online ticket sales center or by calling 888-GO-PURPLE.
