Baseball Game Against Chicago State Shifts to Les Miller Field

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's scheduled nonconference game against the Chicago State Cougars on Wednesday, March 27 will have a new playing venue and start time. The teams will now play at Les Miller Field, home of the UIC Flames, at 1 p.m.
The game was scheduled to be played at the home of the Wildcats, Rocky Miller Park, but a wet winter and a recent surge of cold temperatures has rendered the surface unplayable at this time.
Les Miller Field, located at 901 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Chicago, features an artificial playing surface. The Wildcats are also scheduled to play the Flames on the west side of the city on Tuesday, May 7 at 7:05 p.m.
Wednesday's game will be the first of two between Northwestern and Chicago State this season. The Cougars will venture to Rocky Miller Park on Tuesday, April 30 at 3 p.m.
No changes have been made to Northwestern's scheduled contest against St. Xavier on Tuesday, March 26. Stay tuned to NUsports.com for updates.
