EVANSTON, Ill. -- For the third straight year, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will put on the Northwestern Student-Athlete Talent Show. The event will be held on Monday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. in the Ryan Family Auditorium inside the Technological Institute (2145 Sheridan Road). The show is open to the general public, and tickets are just $3, with all proceeds going to Dance Marathon, which will be beneftting the Danny Did Foundation.
"This year's talent show will have more than 10 acts from our student-athletes and is an awesome opportunity for us to showcase talents we have off the playing fields and outside of the classroom," says Audrey Huth (cross country), the head of the Talent Show committee for SAAC. "Along with our favorite emcee duo in Reggie Hearn (men's basketball) and Beatrice Conley (lacrosse), and judges, the show is going to be absolutely amazing. We are also really excited about partnering with Dance Marathon on the event, with all ticket sale proceeds going to benefit the Danny Did Foundation."
Huth and other members of SAAC are hoping to increase attendance over last year and raise significant funds for the Danny Did Foundation. This will be a great opportunity for members of the Northwestern and Evanston communities to come together, support a great cause and see some of the best talent around.
