EVANSTON, Ill. -- The 2013-14 Northwestern women's basketball team has a number of new faces on this year's roster with freshmen Nia Coffey, Ashley Deary, Christen Inman and Allie Tuttle joining the Wildcat family. As we get ready for the upcoming season, we will introduce Northwestern fans to this year's freshman class.
A 5-10 guard from Katy, Texas, Christen Inman had a successful career at Seven Lakes High School. Ranked as the No. 2 player in the state of Texas and as one of the top players nationally, Inman received 2013 WBCA High School All-America Honorable Mention accolades and was the 2013 Offensive Player of the Year for District 19-5A. A three-time Houston Chronicle Honor Roll recipient, she also helped lead Seven Lakes High School to its first ever 19-5A District Championship.
Off the court, Christen was very active in her local community, regularly volunteering at Jack and Jill of America's Katy-Prairie View Chapter, which is an organization that provides social, cultural and educational opportunities for youth ages 2-19.
