EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern wrapped up competition at its own Wildcat Invitational on Sunday with three doubles teams notching victories.
The duo of Veronica Corning and Brooke Rischbieth led the way, winning their flight with a 6-3 victory over their teammates Belinda Niu and Manon Peri.
The pairing of Maddie Lipp and Nida Hamilton were victorious, defeating Aldila Sutjiadi and Kirsten Lewis of Kentucky, 6-4. Alicia Barnett and Lok Sze Leung also notched a win on Sunday, taking down Marie Faure and Caryssa Peretz of Virginia, 6-3.
Northwestern returns to action Thursday as it begins competition at the ITA Midwest Regional in Ann Arbor, Mich.
