ND Invitational -- Individual & Team Results 
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Northwestern walked away with a 12th-place finish in the competitive Blue Division race at the 58th annual Notre Dame Adidas Invitational Friday afternoon in South Bend. Freshman Andrea Ostenso was Northwestern's top finisher for the first time in her young career, placing 33rd overall with an excellent 5K effort of 17:46.4.
Northwestern, ranked No. 5 in the most recent USTFCCCA Midwest Regional rankings, was boosted by a sub-18-minute performance by senior Libby Kocha (17:58.0), while another freshman, Jena Pianin, joined Ostenso and Kocha in the top 3 with her time of 18:12.1.
Sophomore Camille Blackman (18:23) and senior Julia Buford rounded out Northwestern's group of scorers on the afternoon.
The top of the team standings for today's meet include a host of nationally ranked squads, including overall winner Florida State (No. 2), runner-up New Mexico (No. 15), third-place San Francisco (No. 24) and 10th-place Duke (No. 4).

Next Saturday, Northwestern will send a contingent to the Lucian Rosa Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Start time for the meet is slated for 11 a.m. CT.
