'Cats Conclude Busy Weekend at Loyola Lakefront Invite

CHICAGO -- Northwestern was well-represented at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago Saturday, placing fourth as a team out of more than 50 squads in attendance. The Wildcats, whose top runners competed Friday at the Notre Dame Invite, saw senior Abby Tracy lead their unit with a 5K time of 18:04, good for 16th place in the individual standings.
Freshman Megan O'Brien was next across the finish line for the Wildcats in a time of 18:14, earning herself a top-25 showing. Senior Lauren Neuschel (18:16) and freshmen Allison Jacobsen (18:18) and Jessie Baloga (18:19) rounded out Northwestern's top-5 finishers.

Northwestern will again split its squad for its next weekend of competition, sending representatives to both the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational and the Bradley Classic on Friday, Oct. 12.
