ROME, Italy-- The Wildcats continued their tour of Rome Wednesday with a busy itinerary visiting to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Vatican City, Sistine Chapel and Basilica.

Top Five Things from Day 2 in Rome (as told by Inesha Hale, Maggie Lyon and Gabi Revis)

1) Breakfast was a surprise favorite because we had heard that the Italians do not actually eat a lot of breakfast. Lucky for us, the breakfast at our hotel was pretty decent - croissants, granola, yogurt, and fresh fruit. (The eggs could use a little work)

2) Trevi Fountain, one of the top tourists sites in Rome, was one of our favorites. We all made wishes as we threw our pennies into the fountain! Hope they come true!

3) Sistine Chapel - A once a lifetime piece of artwork! Our jaws dropped when we saw it even though we have seen it in pictures before. Unfortunately, you cannot take pictures inside the chapel so you'll have to go there yourself!

4) St Peter's Basilica is the biggest Christian church in the world! Everything inside is sculpted by hand (even the 6ft tall baby angels) and the large pieces of artwork on the walls are mosaics, not paintings.

5)For dinner, we had a delicious, extremely-filling five-course meal with LIVE entertainment (think Italian serenade). We tried authentic bruschetta, two different kinds of pasta, and veal. Of course, we finished our meal with gelato. Yum!

More to come Thursday, as we play our first game at 12:30 p.m. CT vs. Basket Pomezia.
