Secure Season Tickets for Northwestern Men's Soccer

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern announced its 2012 schedule last week and now fans can purchase season tickets for the nine home contests at Lakeside Field. The defending Big Ten regular season and tournament champions host six nonconference matches, including two games at the annual Lakeside Classic (Sept. 14-16), and three matches against conference foes.
All season ticket holders will receive a Northwestern Soccer Scarf for each ticket purchased. This is the only way to receive a scarf so purchase now because quantities are limited!
For a nine-game season pass, adult tickets are available for $49 while youth seats can be purchased for just $29. Northwestern once again will offer a family plan, which admits two adults and three youths to all 10 games at a total cost of $99. Order tickets today by calling the Northwestern ticket office at 1-888-GO-PURPLE or by visiting NU's online ticket sales office.Online sales will be conducted through August 25.
Season tickets are a savings of over 20% off the cost of single-game tickets.
Northwestern kicks off the 2012 campaign at Lakeside Field against Xavier at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25. The 'Cats are home for four games in the month of September, with Iona (Sept. 14) and Milwaukee (Sept. 16) playing at the Lakeside Classic and open their Big Ten title defense against Michigan (Sept. 23), the team they beat to clinch the 2011 conference regular season title. Cross-town rival DePaul will also visit Lakeside Field on Sept. 26.
Four more home matches await in October as Notre Dame comes to town for a Tuesday match (Oct. 9) and Ohio State visits on Sunday, Oct. 14. The regular season home slate concludes against Penn State (Sunday, Oct. 21) and nonconference rival Northern Illinois (Wednesday, Oct. 24).

Northwestern has the opportunity to defend its tournament title on the 'Cats home pitch, hosting the 2012 Big Ten Tournament Nov. 7-11 at Lakeside Field. Ticket information for the conference tournament will be available at a later date.
