Northwestern Fencing on "Stick it to Stucky"
EVANSTON-- In the third installment of his signature segment, Comcast SportsNet Chicago reporter and anchor Luke Stuckmeyer recently visited Patten Gymnasium on Northwestern's campus to take to the strips against the Wildcats' fencing team.
"Stick it to Stucky" featured Stuckmeyer fencing against several top 'Cats including Courtney Dumas (Cleveland, Ohio/Hathaway Brown), Chloe Grainger (Decatur, Ga./Decatur), Alicia Gurrieri (Medford, N.J./Moorestown Friends) and Camille Provencal (St. Paul, Minn./Central). Head coach Laurie Schiller is also featured giving instruction and offering his trademark wit throughout.
The segment originally aired on CSN Chicago on February 8 during the 10 p.m. hour. If you missed the show, click on the link at the top of the page to view.
The Wildcats will be at Patten on Saturday, Feb. 11 for the Northwestern Duals. Fencing begins at 8 a.m. and admission is free.
