EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern invites all aspiring female runners between sixth and 12th grade to attend the 2013 Northwestern Cross Country Camp, June 28-July 1, in Evanston. Under the direction of the Northwestern coaching staff, Camp Run Wild offers exceptional training and education that will prepare runners of all levels for their upcoming fall season.
The overnight camp addresses all aspects of successful endurance running, including nutrition, mental preparation, injury prevention, goal-setting and training physiology. Campers will learn in a fun environment from current NU student-athletes and former NCAA All-Americans, including head coach April Likhite, who has led the Wildcats to back-to-back top-5 finishes at the NCAA Regional meet the last two seasons.
Cost is $425 per camper if registered before March 1, 2013, and includes lodging and meals as well as an Under Armour T-shirt, lanyard and water bottle. Download the informational brochure and register today!
