TULSA, Okla. - Northwestern senior Spencer Wolf saw his run at the ITA All-American Championships come to an end on Thursday as he dropped his opening match of the main draw before falling in the consolation bracket.

He opened the week by posting three straight wins in the qualifying round to advance to the main draw and faced Slim Hamza of Utah. Wolf surged out early and was up a pair of breaks, but was unable to hold on, falling 7-5, 6-4 in the tightly contested round-of-64 matchup.

His next opponent in opening round of the consolation bracket was Oliver Borsos of LSU who was seeded 16th in the main draw but lost his first match as well. Borsos, who is No. 18 in the ITA preseason rankings, posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory to eliminate Wolf from the competition.
