EVANSTON, Ill. - Nida Hamilton, Kate Turvy and Belinda Niu each posted victories for Northwestern on Sunday's final day of competition of the Wildcat Invitational at the Combe Tennis Center.

Hamilton won her singles draw, posting a 6-2, 7-6 (3) victory over Melrose of Oklahoma in the championship match.

Turvy also posted a straight-sets victory as the defeated Kling of DePaul, 6-3, 6-2. Niu was a victor over Iowa's Talcott, winning a pair of close sets, 6-4, 6-4.

Alicia Barnett was Northwestern's lone other competitor on the day, dropping a 6-4, 6-2 decision to Brahane of Oklahoma.

Northwestern returns to action Oct. 19-23 when it participates in the ITA Midwest Regionals in Champaign, Ill.
