EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern junior utility player Paul Snieder (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou) has been named to the College Baseball Foundation National All-Star Lineup for the week of May 9-15.
Snieder, who was also tabbed the Big Ten Player of the Week, guided the Wildcats to a perfect 4-0 week. At the plate, he batted .588 with three multi-hit games and seven runs batted in. He went a combined 6-for-8 in two wins over Michigan, including hitting a grand slam.
Snieder also got the job done on the mound, working the final 3 2/3 innings of Saturday's 11-6 victory over the Wolverines without allowing an earned run.
