Northwestern Impresses at Wisconsin Twilight Invitational

Wisconsin Twilight Meet -- Complete Results
MADISON, Wis. -- With the spring track season winding down, Northwestern put together yet another collection of strong performances at the Wisconsin Twilight Invitational last weekend. NU runners claimed first-place finishes in the 1500-meter, 3K and 3K steeplechase events.
In the 1,500, junior Rachel Kaminski competed unattached and crossed first in a time of 4:34.47, lowering her previous-best time of 4:35. Classmate Hallie Busta took fourth in the event in 4:56.16.
Sophomore Allegra Mayer also ran unattached and finished her 3K steeplechase run in 11:23, completing a strong first spring season in the event.
Northwestern entered seven runners in the 3K and saw sophomore All-Region runner Audrey Huth take first by a margin of 23 seconds with her time of 9:46.67. Junior Abby Tracy (10:20.03), freshman Ann Powers (10:21.27) and Kaminski (10:30.33) followed Huth's lead by finishing third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Northwestern will compete Thursday, May 12, at North Central College's Keeler Invitational.
