Rain Continues to Wreak Havoc on Wildcats' Schedule

Rain has forced the cancellation of a Northwestern baseball game for the second consecutive day. The Wildcats' scheduled home contest with North Central College on Wednesday has been wiped out due to precipitation.
NU was also scheduled to face St. Xavier on Tuesday, but rain prevented that game from being played as well. Wet conditions have forced Northwestern to cancel three home games and postpone two others already this season.
The Wildcats (13-23, 5-7 Big Ten) hope to return to action at 3 p.m. Friday as they open a three-game conference series with Illinois at Rocky Miller Park.
