Official Brackets for Midlands Championships Announced

EVANSTON, Ill. – Official brackets for the 49th Annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships ware now available. Five NU wrestlers are seeded for their respective weight classes including top-seeded Jason Welch at 157 lbs. Levi Mele is seeded fourth at 125 lbs., Kaleb Friedley is the No. 9 seed at 149 lbs., Lee Munster received a No. 5 seed at 174 lbs. and Mike McMullan is the No. 10 seed at heavyweight.
Tickets are still available for Midlands by calling 1-888-GOPURPLE or at the door. Wrestling begins at 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning inside Welsh-Ryan Arena and Session II begins at 7 p.m., Thursday. Friday, the third session begins at noon and Session IV including the first, third and fifth matches, begins at 7 p.m.
