There are plenty of exciting promotions surrounding Northwestern's athletic events in the next 10 days!
Women's Basketball
Thursday, Jan. 13 vs. Ohio State • 7 p.m.
Thursday Night Trivia: Thursday Night is Trivia Night at Northwestern Women's Basketball! All fans in attendance will receive an answer sheet as they enter. Questions will be asked throughout the night on the arena's matrix board and the first fan to return a completed answer sheet with correct answers will receive a gift certificate courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings.
Wrestling
Friday, Jan. 14 vs. Illinois • 7 p.m.
When No. 21 Northwestern hosts No. 15 Illinois in a battle of Big Ten rivals, fans are invited to Welsh-Ryan Arena to take in the action on the mat as well as events surrounding Family Fun Night Presented by Coke Zero. As part of the special event, the first 300 fans in attendance will receive free color-changing Northwestern Wrestling mugs and a voucher for Coke Zero to be redeemed at the Welsh-Ryan Arena concession stands.
Start time for the match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
After the match begins, be sure to cheer Northwestern on to victory in its Big Ten home-opener because with every Wildcat takedown, NU T-shirts will be tossed into the crowd as part of the "T's for Takedowns" promotion. One lucky fan in attendance also will be named Northwestern's Fan of the Match and walk away with an Apple iPod!
Stick around postmatch for an autograph session with the entire Northwestern wrestling team!
Men's/Women's Swimming & Diving
Wednesday, Jan. 12 vs. Notre Dame • 5 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 15 vs. Michigan/Notre Dame • 1 p.m.
Senior Day: Join Northwestern swimming as it honors its seniors for four years of commitment and excellence this week. The men's team takes on Notre Dame at 5 p.m. Wednesday while the women close their home schedule in a tri-meet against Michigan and Notre Dame at 1 p.m. Saturday. Northwestern swimming competes in NU's Sports and Aquatic Center located at 2311 N Campus Drive on the Evanston lakefront.
Men's Basketball
Tuesday, Jan 18 vs. Michigan • 8 p.m.
Wildfire Networking Night: Northwestern Basketball and the Northwestern Alumni Association are teaming up again for Networking Nights. Participate in a pregame networking session complete with appetizers compliments of Wildfire. Continue the mingling as you enjoy the game in the Networking Night section. The cost for the entire event is only $25 for those that pre-register by Monday, February 21 or $35 on the day of the game.
