'Cats Resume Fall Schedule at Furman Invitational

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern is back in action this weekend at the 2010 Furman Fall Invitational in Greenville, S.C., which begins tomorrow (Friday) and continues through Sunday. This is the third straight season NU has competed at the event.
Doubles play will begin at 8 a.m. CT Friday, followed by singles action at 1 p.m. Play resumes at 8 a.m. CT on both Saturday and Sunday. Complete results from Furman will be available on the women's tennis page at NUsports.com at the conclusion of play each day.
Northwestern is one of eight teams in the field at the Furman Fall Invite, all eight of which finished the 2010 dual season ranked in the top-30 nationally. Those teams competing are: Clemson, Florida State, Furman, North Carolina, Northwestern, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
Draw sheets for the Furman Invitational will be posted to NUsports.com as soon as they are made available.
