AS THE SAYING GOES...PRICELESS!
What a year!
This season was as emotional of an experience as I can remember! Watching this group of young players grow was something that I will treasure for years to come. This team made us all very proud to be Wildcat fans. Not once during the season did any one of our guys give in or give up. Those words just weren't in their vocabulary. They never let a bad pitch, bad play, bad at-bat or tough loss affect them. They each had the unique ability to learn from each experience and then flush it out of their system. The faith they showed in themselves and in their teammates amazed me. Day in and day out, the mindset and work ethic that took flight in these players is what I believe helped them ascend from ordinary to extraordinary.
There is still a lot of work to be done, but the foundation has been laid for the future. All of our players have been playing extremely hard all summer. The majority of last year's players are returning, along with an outstanding new group of freshmen. In just a few short weeks we will be back on the field getting ready for the 2011 season. I don't know about you, but I CAN'T WAIT!
Paul
