St. Bonaventure lost to Dayton, 83-66, in the quarterfinals of the A-10 tournament, but aside from that misstep, has won seven of its last eight outings. • St. Bonaventure relies on its sharpshooting to outshine its lack of strength down low. As a team, SBU is shooting 46 percent from the field and 39 percent from deep, wile only averaging 30 rpg and 1.3 blocks per outing. The Bonnies' tallest player is 6-1.

What Thursday Night's Win Means In Wildcat Annals
Thursday's win over Duquesne marked the third postseason victory for women's basketball at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The last time Northwestern won at home was on March 17, 1993 when it defeated Georgia Tech, 90-62 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Northwestern Against The Top 100 RPI
The Wildcats have three wins against teams in the top 50 RPI (as of 3.14.10) and 10 victories over squads with an RPI of 100 or better. After finishing last season with an RPI of 238, Northwestern currently comes in at 97.

As Marshall Goes, So Do The 'Cats
Consider it a given that Amy Jaeschke and Kendall Hackney are going to put up some pretty solid numbers more often than not. However, if you really want a barometer as to how the Wildcats will fare, keep an eye on Beth Marshall. Northwestern is 10-2 when the junior hits two or more triples and is 4-0 when she knocks down four or more or more. Marshall has connected on a three-pointer in all but eight games this season and has hit six on two occasions (vs. Indiana on Feb. 18 and vs. Duquesne on March 18) and eight against Arkansas on Dec. 17.

To That End...
Marshall was feeling it from deep Thursday against Duquesne, sinking 6-of-7 from three-point land and nearly topping her career-best, dumping in 25 points. In total, she was 8-of-10 from the field, including 3-of-4 from the free-throw line while also dishing out a team-high five assists.

'Cats Save The Best For Last
The Wildcats' 45 point second-half effort against Duquesne was the most NU has scored in a half all season. Northwestern also shot a season-high 72 percent from three-point range while tying a season low with only 11 turnovers.
