Michigan State Game Notes Get Acrobat Reader

EVANSTON, Ill. --Northwestern returns to the court Sunday afternoon at the Breslin Center for a 1:30 CT battle with Michigan State. The game will be carried live on the Big Ten Network with former Wildcat Lisa Byington and Vera Jones on the call.

Fans wishing to stay up to date on the action in Sunday's game can do so by following the username @NU_sportsLIVE on Twitter. The game will be broadcast live on WNUR 89.3FM.

The Wildcats (14-10, 5-8) only have five more regular-season conference contests remaining, three of which are in the friendly confines of Welsh-Ryan Arena. Following Sunday's game, NU returns home for back-to-back affairs against Indiana (Feb. 18) and Iowa (Feb. 21). The two remaining showdowns include a trip to Columbus for a date with the Buckeyes and a home contest--Senior Day--against the Illini.

• MSU leads the conference in field goal percentage defense, limiting Big Ten foes to just 34.8 percent shooting. They are also first in offensive rebounds, hauling down 14.31 per conference game.
• Allyssa DeHaan leads the way for Michigan State offensively, tallying 16.5 ppg while also coming in second in the league in blocked shots (behind Amy Jaeschke) with 3.25 per outing. As a team, the Spartans rank first in the conference in blocks in all games.
