Northwestern Announces 2010 Summer Volleyball Camps Schedule

2010 Northwestern Volleyball Camps Registration and Information
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern volleyball is once again offering the opportunity to local volleyball fans and players the opportunity to take part in the Northwestern Volleyball Camps this summer. Camp participants will receive hands-on training from head coach Keylor Chan, his coaching staff and members of the Wildcat volleyball team.
Three different types of camps are being offered this summer, beginning with the middle school day camps. Designed for boys and girls in grades 3-8, two different clinics are being offered, the first taking place June 14-16 and the second July 7-9. The high school skills camp is designed for girls in grades 8-12 and will be offered July 15-18 with both an overnight and commuter option. A team option is also offered. Get 8 or more of your friends or teammates and register at a discounted price! Northwestern will also offer a new single-day skills clinic for girls in grades 8-12. The first session will take place June 17 with the second session on July 14.
Fans will get to work with and train with the Wildcats, who are coming off an impressive 2009 season. Northwestern finished sixth in the Big Ten, one of the nation's top volleyball conferences, and had the conference's Defensive Player of the Year in libero Kate Nobilio. Middle blocker Sabel Moffett was named a first-team All-Big Ten selection as both were also named AVCA honorable mention All-Americans.
