Join the Wildcats at Madison Square Garden

EVANSTON, Ill. - There are few places more scenic than New York City prior to the holidays and fans of the Northwestern men's basketball program will want to make plans now to join the Wildcats Dec. 20-21 for the annual Madison Square Garden Holiday Festival.
NU squares off against St. Francis (N.Y.) at 7 p.m. Eastern time Dec. 20, followed by a contest between host St. John's and Davidson at 9:30. The two losers of Monday's games face one another at 7 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday followed by the championship game at 9:30.
Those interested in sitting with other Wildcats fans may contact the Northwestern Athletic Ticket Office by calling 888-GO-PURPLE. Prices are $30, $50 and $65 per day.
In addition, for those in need of lodging, Northwestern recommends The Carlton Hotel which is located at 88 Madison Ave.
Call 800-601-8500 and mention "Northwestern University Alumni and Booster Group" to receive a special rate of $249 per night. Available rooms include executive king with one king bed or executive doubles with two double beds.
Northwestern is currently 5-0 following a 91-71 win over Georgia Tech Tuesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. It is the team's best start in 17 years and the Wildcats are receiving votes in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
