Jaeschke Nabs Big Ten Player of the Week Accolades

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Amy Jaeschke earned her second Big Ten Player of the Week honor this season after posting career highs of 37 points and 17 rebounds in Northwestern's 92-84 win over Central Michigan on Saturday. The senior also tallied six blocks and four assists in the Wildcats' win, shooting 60 percent (15-of-25) from the floor.

Jaeschke's performance helped Northwestern to an 8-1 record, marking its best nine-game start since the 1995-96 season. Through nine games, Jaeschke leads the Big Ten in rebounds per game (10.2) and blocks per game (3.9) and is second in points per game (24.1).
