Trick or Treat With the `Cats Sunday!

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Basketball season is upon us and your first chance to preview this year's women's basketball team is Sunday, October 31 at 2 p.m. as they host the UW-Platteville in an exhibition game at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The game is free to all fans and kids will have the opportunity to `Trick-or-Treat With the `Cats' before hitting the streets for Halloween.
Sunday's game will include a Halloween costume contest, a postgame autograph session, and plenty of candy for kids of all ages. Trick-or-treating in the city of Evanston takes place from 4-7 p.m., so get the fun started with Wildcat Women's Basketball.
Northwestern debuts the season at home against Dartmouth at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12. Other premier nonconference match-ups in Evanston include a showdown against LSU on Sun., Nov. 14 and the Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge against Missouri on Sun., Dec. 5. Ticket packages for the 2010-11 season of Northwestern Women's Basketball are on sale now. To order tickets call 888-GO-PURPLE.
