Redesigned NUsports.com to Debut Today!

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern -- in conjunction with website host CBSSports.com College Network, a CBS Interactive Company -- will unveil a refreshed and redesigned NUsports.com today, Tuesday, Oct. 19.
The new NUsports.com will present a cleaner look, reducing clutter through tabbed navigation while placing an emphasis on graphical and video presentation. While the main redesign will launch today, internal updates will continue throughout the fall and winter months.
Following is a quick look at some of the highlights coming in the new NUsports.com:
• Ticket buttons and drop-down menus have been moved to more prominent locations in the masthead and navigation of the site, while an ever-present ticket graphic in the masthead will feature different promotions and ticket reminders all year long.
• Under the "Schedules" drop-down menu, a new interactive calendar for all 19 Northwestern varsity programs shows competition dates with links to audio/video and Gametracker.
• The main navigation bar will include a new drop-down menu for "Multimedia" to allow fans to quickly find All-Access broadcasts, photo galleries, social media, RSS feeds, Gametracker and more.
• The main navigation bar also will include a new drop-down menu for "Facilities," offering easy access to directions and facility information for all of Northwestern's athletic venues.
CBSSports.com College Network is the leader in collegiate website hosting, providing more than 175 official athletic sites for colleges and universities around the nation. Northwestern recently extended its relationship with CBSSports.com College Network, which is providing this redesign as a part of that agreement.
