EVANSTON, Ill. --
Northwestern headed to Milwaukee this weekend to compete in the Marquette Twilight track meet, where freshman Molly Waterhouse bested a field 17 runners to claim first in the 5K race with a time of 18:11.63. Waterhouse's win, which marked a season-best time for the Vicksburg, Mich., native, came amid heavy rainstorms that covered the Milwaukee area for most of the day Saturday.

Also among the competitors in the 5K for the 'Cats was freshman Hallie Busta, who crossed in 18:55 in her first race of the spring, as well as Madeline Rozwat (20:12.55) and Carla Wirtschafter (20:23.53). Other runners in the field included representatives from Marquette, DePaul, Wisconsin and Illinois-Chicago.

Freshmen Abby Tracy and Rachel Edwards (pictured, front page) both entered in the 1,500-meter event, where Tracy took third in 4:58.78 and Edwards nabbed seventh in 5:05.13. In the 800, Tracy posted a 2:30.29 while Edwards crossed in 2:35.48 to finish 15th in the 24-person field.
