American Airlines Offers NU Fans Travel Discount to Tampa

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern Athletics and American Airlines, the exclusive airline sponsor of Northwestern Athletics, have teamed up to bring Wildcat fans a special discount offer for travel to see the 'Cats play in the 2010 Outback Bowl in Tampa.
American Airlines is offering NU fans 5% off the lowest available fare for travel to Tampa to see the Wildcats and Auburn Tigers battle on January 1, 2010. Fans can take advantage of the discount for travel between December 25th and January 4th by using the exclusive Wildcat code, "29D9AS."
Discount fares are valid for travel on American Airlines, American Eagle®, AmericanConnection®, oneworld Alliance, and codeshare partners from anywhere to Tampa for the 2010 Outback Bowl. Tickets can be purchased online or by phone and more information on using the discount code is available below.
Northwestern will be making its first New Year's Day bowl appearance since the 1997 Citrus Bowl, and its first appearance in the Outback Bowl.
Northwestern fans are urged to purchase their tickets through the Northwestern Ticket Office. Tickets can be purchased online at NUSports.com, by calling 847-491-CATS or in persion at the ticket office (1501 Central Street, Evanston, Ill. 60208).

Reservations and Ticketing
There is a $20.00USD reservations service fee for tickets issued through AA reservations, and a $30.00USD ticketing fee for tickets issued at the airport. There will also be a separate ticketing charge of $20.00 USD per ticket for tickets purchased via the phone or $30.00 USD per ticket for tickets purchased at the airport. This amount is subject to change. At this time there is no ticketing fee for reservations made and ticketed on www.AA.com. The percentage discount can be booked on-line at www.AA.com for American Airlines and American Eagle flights only.
For your International originating guests, they will need to call their local reservations number and refer to your Promotion Code (STARfile 29D9AS).
