Fennelly Named Director of Operations

Billy Fennelly joins the Wildcat staff after spending time at Maryland and at his alma mater, Iowa State.

EVANSTON, Ill. --Billy Fennelly has been named to the Northwestern Women's Basketball staff this year as the Director of Operations, it was announced today by head coach Joe McKeown.

Fennelly joins the Wildcat staff after serving as the administrative assistant to the recruiting coordinator at the University of Maryland during the 2007-08 season, in which the squad finished 33-4. While at College Park, Fennelly scouted opponents, edited film, assisted in official visits and assisted with travel logistics. He was the co-camp director for the Terp women's basketball summer camps.

Prior to joining the Maryland staff, Fennelly was the head manager at Iowa State University--his alma mater--for three seasons.
